President
Jim Jacobi is a self-made success and proven entrepreneur with an extensive career in residential development and building. Since graduating from Mississippi State University with a degree in landscape architecture, Jacobi’s career includes working for some of the most respected land planning and engineering firms throughout Atlanta, in addition to launching his own endeavors.

The turning point in Jacobi’s career was transitioning to the homebuilding industry in 2003 to perform land acquisitions and development for one of the country’s largest home builders. Following that, Jacobi created Parkland Communities, Inc., a multifaceted real estate development and investment firm, in 2005 and has worked hard to establish a stellar reputation developing communities and lots for national and regional homebuilders, as well as investing in land.

In 2007, at the beginning of the great recession, Jacobi and a group of business partners founded JEH Homes. Jacobi was actively involved in the day-to-day operations of what would become one of the most successful, top 10 largest home builders in Georgia, a true Cinderella story in such a challenging economic time. JEH Homes built more than 1,200 homes in the greater Atlanta area prior to being purchased by Taylor Morrison for $70+ million in 2015.

With a reputation for innovation, Jacobi also owns Parkland Residential, a build-to-rent company. Serving as the wave of the future, Parkland Residential helps meet the needs of the missing middle in residential real estate by offering unique product that fills the need for affordable housing. The company focuses on providing rental housing in high-demand areas.

Jacobi is also part owner of Alliance Engineering + Planning, LLC, a respected planning, engineering and surveying consulting company serving clients across the Southeast. Additionally, Jacobi is part owner of multiple real estate investment ventures with asset holdings throughout North Atlanta.

During his career, Jacobi has been involved in a variety projects including planning office parks, commercial and retail centers and beachside resorts and the acquisition, design, or development of over 10,000 residential lots. He is recognized as a quality developer by both the large and small builder community. His innate ability to find new opportunities, navigate municipal entitlements and envision future development has earned him the respect and trust of his peers.
matt peevy
Matthew Peevy started his career executing residential land acquisitions for one of metro Atlanta’s largest private home builders. From there he continued to gain experience joining the team at Fox Creek Properties, where he continued residential land acquisition utilizing analytics and geographic information systems.

While at Fox Creek Properties, Peevy started researching mitigation banking and started one of the first mitigation banking companies in the Southeast. Mitigation Resource Group was founded in 2007 with business partners. Together they created one of the largest portfolios of ecological mitigation assets in the country.

Peevy has worked on legislation to promote ecological markets and served on the National Mitigation Banking Association and Georgia Ecological Restoration Association boards. In 2010, he co-founded Blueway, an ecological consulting, brokerage, land acquisition and construction firm. In 2017, Blueway successfully opened an office in Nashville, Tennessee to create a portfolio of ecological assets in Tennessee. This gives Blueway a presence in Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina. His ecological companies have permanently protected over 12,000 acres, restored 130 miles of stream, planted over 2 million trees, removed 30 dams and executed over $200 million in sales.

Throughout his career, Peevy has given back to his community. He co-founded the Ryan Daniel Scholarship Fund in memory of his childhood friend and awarded over $150,000 in Scholarships to Buford High School Seniors. In 2019, he was elected to the Buford City Board of Education. Buford is currently ranked the #1 Public School in the State of Georgia by niche.com and 15th Nationally. He also serves for Gwinnett County Zoning Board of Appeals, Gwinnett County Development Advisory Board, and teacher at Waumba Land for Gwinnett Church.

A resident of Buford, Georgia, Peevy graduated from University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science.
