Parkland Communities Seeks Construction Manager

The firm actively seeks candidates for Construction Managers and Assistant Construction Managers. These individuals will oversee the residential construction process from pre-construction to completion. These team members are instrumental in maintaining the firm’s trusted reputation and commitment to innovative, high-quality residential development.

With a key focus on innovation and exceptional quality, the successful candidates will possess a proven ability to work on multiple construction projects simultaneously, serve as representatives with subcontractors, supplies and customers, and engage with government inspectors. The construction manager ensures strict compliance with local and national regulations and codes. The assistant construction manager supports the construction manager in all aspects of residential construction. A crucial part of both roles involves providing regular updates to management on the progress of each project.

Candidates must have experience in new residential construction (townhomes and single-family), a strong understanding of construction methods and technologies, knowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling methods, and a commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in construction management or a related field, multilingual abilities with a preference for Spanish, OSHA 10-hour certification, and a GSWCC “Blue Card” certification or the ability to obtain it quickly upon being hired.
